Minecraft - Volume Alpha is the work of German composer and musician Daniel Rosenfeld. Using C418 as his moniker, Rosenfeld crafted the sweeping soundtrack and vibrant sound design which helped breathe life into Minecraft's voxel-based universe. Fans and critics were universally enamored with his beatless, nuanced electronic pieces upon release. Popular gaming site Kotaku named it among The Best Game Music of 2011, calling the music "remarkably soothing," and The Guardian has compared Rosenfeld's delicate piano and sparse ambient motifs to legendary artists Erik Satie and Brian Eno. In an interview feature with C418, Polygon distilled Volume Alpha to it's essence: "It's not bound by the retro aesthetic of Minecraft's graphics. It transcends them. The album is an attempt to uplift the combined game/music experience into the sublime."

Augustus Muller (Gus from Boy Harsher), releases two original scores through own label Nude Club records. The films, 'Orgone Theory' and 'Hydra', are Muller’s first foray into scoring. Both films were produced by UK based collective Four Chambers.Four Chambers, or A Four Chambered Heart, produces adult material that focuses on DIY practices and non traditional bodies and narratives. Four Chambers is self-described by creator Vex Ashley as “deliberately ambiguous, rejecting labels for both (the) films and performers, existing in-between genres of both art and pornography and dismissing the need for a definition of either.”After a successful collaboration between Boy Harsher and Four Chambers, with the film Archetype, Vex sought a direct collaboration between Muller. 'Hydra' is a short, sci-fi experience studying invasion and consumption. Muller’s score delves into the film’s dystopian attitude, utilizing eerie industrial tones and wet synthesizers. 'Orgone Theory' takes a more dogmatic approach: sexual scenarios confined within a metal box simulating the... afficher pluscrédits
If you saw CLIMAX you know how incredible this soundtrack is, if you didn’t seek it out now! CLIMAX centers around 20 young dancers who gather in a dank rehearsal space for a series of enthralling dance sequences set to throbbing '90s electronic dance music and photographed in a single hypnotic head-on shot. But an inferno is near when somebody spikes the sangria the dancers are drinking with LSD. Never leaving the rehearsal space, the minds of the performers begin to unspool thanks to the hallucinogens. The dancer’s music is at the center of CLIMAX; it pulses and pounds relentlessly, never stopping or pulling up. This unique soundtrack features an exciting line up with classic tunes by Ceronne, Neon, Gary Numan, Giorgio Moroder, Aphex Twin and many more! The soundtrack also includes the original tracks “Sangria” and “What To Do” by Thomas Bangalter. Pressed on double black vinyl.
WRWTFWW Records is deeply honored to announce the release of Chu Ishikawa & Der Eisenrost’s soundtrack for experimental action drama Tokyo Fist, released in 1995 and directed by legendary director/producer/writer Shin’ya Tsukamoto (Tetsuo: The Iron Man and its sequels, Bullet Ballet, Hiroki The Goblin, Nightmare Detective). Previously only published on CD in Japan, the cult movie soundtrack is available on vinyl for the first time ever and housed in a heavy 350gsm sleeve.
