Rich Complex, and massively powerful. We're big fans of Dutchman Gumnaam and his fusions of dub step with junglist flavors and Indian instrumentation. Lead track Deewane Riddim is blissful roller with Indian vocals, harking back to 90s talvin Singh style tunes - but it's the tougher flip that's got us buzzing. 'Partly Sunny …' also has blissed out elements in its soul vocal snippets and warm chords, but it's the contrast with the rude, buzzing bass tones and ricocheting rhythms which makes it. Intriguing on a casual listen, on a proper rig it is absolutely devastatiing. Massive track. - Mixmag ( Jwala Dub is the bonus track only for the vinyl release )
