In the lead up to part two of the highly anticipated Outro Tempo compilation, MFM drops this teaser EP with the never before heard cassette madness of São Paulo's Bruhahá Babélico and Individual Industry's ethereal electro pop on the flip.Music From Memory announces a series of Brazilian releases for this Spring that pick up where their 2017 Outro Tempo compilation left off. Circling around the musical projects that emerged out of the art world in Brazilian cities during the late 1980s and 1990s, 'Outro Tempo II: Electronic and Contemporary Music from Brazil, 1984-1996' takes anotherdive into the depths of the Brazilian underworld, exploring the rhythms that lurk beneath the Ipanema sunset. It shines light on more illustrious unknowns and on the genre-defying music that maintained asymbiotic, yet uneasy, relationship with mainstream popular culture.

Anono Tapes est l'aboutissement de trois années de convergence entre les trois collectifs Maquis Electroniq de Abidjan, Blanc Manioc de Lyon et Furie de Lyon et Sao Paulo. Trois villes et autant de ponts, d'utopies et de rencontres. une aventure mouvementée à taille humaine qui prend sa source dans le festival Maquis Electroniq à Abidjan, ses block party, des soirées en plein air et l'ivresse de la nuit. Nouvelle scène émergente, incubateur à huile rouge, on parle là AfroHouse 3.0, Amapiano, afro-tech et hard drum cuit dans la sauce « gnangnan ».On brasse tout le collectif de Babi (le petit surnom de la capitale culturelle de Côte D'ivoire) Sly A 10 le batteur chanteur, qui ramene du chant Zouglou, ses rythmiques coupé décalé ou tapage qui rappelle le grand beatmaker Dj Bocolini, et signe le deuxième single « Route to Bassam ». La mystérieuse SAAN crie sa rage, hymne contestataire, qui appelle tous les quartiers, façon « Abidjan City Breakers » , « Anoumanbo, Abobo, Yopougon » sur un beat « hard drum », c'est 100% dansant et ce sera le single et le clip de l'album.Un album de musique électronique intemporelle et résolument dancefloor, qui sera fêté comme il se doit à plusieurs reprises : Premier week-end de festivité du 15 au 18 Juin !"ANONO TAPES is the result of three years of convergence between the three collectives Maquis Electroniq from Abidjan, Blanc Manioc from Lyon and Furie from Lyon and Sao Paulo. The guys on this compilation are playful composers and appear to engage in various behaviors for sheer enjoyment, such as making waterslides and then sliding on them into the water. They may also find and play with small stones. Their record is based on a myth where Naya Le Loup shapeshift into beautiful women wearing stones-patterned clothing. If a human attempts to speak to him, he will answer Nao and then answer Copo, and if anybody asks him anything, he say cryptic things like Blizzaga.
