fully dedicated to New York City is sending you back to the 90's and to former Hip Hop, inspired by Soul, Jazz, Funk and even Dub.

B boys, B girls, after two decades of dark and futuristic electronic music production, I wanted to release a warmer flavored LP about my early influences and american roots. This record called "The Yellow Tapes", fully dedicated to New York City is sending you back to the 90's and to former Hip Hop, inspired by Soul, Jazz, Funk and even Dub. Featuring 28 instrumental "Short Stories", this double LP has an authentic abstract and funky taste. Recorded between 1999 and 2015 with hardware samplers, valve processors and vintage synths for a classic fat analog sound. Samples are mostly custom made, often from real instruments I've played, like fretless bass and keyboards. You will not find hype stuff here, just my soul.

The international merger of two titans brings us a one-of-a-kind release packed with linguistic intrigue. LA producer Jansport J and Tokyo-based DJ/producer BudaMonk bridge the east/west divide on their collaborative LP BudaSport. Across 15 tracks, underlying beats work as an adhesive, while dual languages spar and interlock in the foreground. Standout guests are featured heavily throughout the album. Veteran acts such as ISSUGI, 5lack and Daichi Yamamoto represent some of the phenomenal Japanese talent, while LA legends Thurz, Devin Morrison and Blu among others contribute verses from the US.Jansport J is a prolific figure in the Los Angeles underground, and alongside several solo LPs and collaborative albums, he is grammy nominated for his production work on Nas’ King Disease II. BudaMonk is also no stranger to US shores with his records regularly being distributed by Delicious Vinyl and Fat Beats. P-VINE Records is delighted to present their joint work as a limited edition LP release with a unique Japanese obi-strip attached.
